The Virtual Magician Takes Two Telly Awards

(New York, USA/February 2003) – Newmagic Communications, Inc. achieves high honors and brings its total of industry excellence awards to 16 with its recent addition of two of the well coveted Telly Awards for The Virtual Magician. Newmagic joins the prestigious list of previous winners including: Dreamworks, Paramount Pictures, The NBC Agency, Discovery Channel, Fox News, TLC, Time Warner, TBS Superstation, Turner Classic Movies, A&E, Hallmark Channel, National Geographic and MTV. The Telly has become one of the most sought-after awards in the TV, commercial and video industry. The Telly statuette has even appeared on the set of many prime-time TV shows, such as thirtysomething, Murder, She Wrote, Newhart, News Radio, and most recently in the Mel Gibson movie "What Women Want." Over the past 23 years, the Telly Awards has become a well-known, highly respected international competition. The Virtual Magician will appear in Cannes, France in March at the world’s prime international television program market (MIP-TV) where decision makers in over 90 countries convene. Episode #2, shot on location in colorful Las Vegas and in High Definition (HD), will be available for screening. Distribution deals include: Sky One in the UK, Star-TV for Pan-Asia, second windows to terrestrial broadcasters ATV in Hong Kong and Channel 5 in Singapore. Televisa in Mexico and YLE in Finland. Progressive negotiations are underway in Scandinavia, Germany and Japan.
