Virtual Magician Marco Tempest helps launch The Matrix Revolutions for Warner Brothers & Carmichael Productions. No other contemporary popular figure seems more likely to have emerged from the world of The Matrix than cyber-illusionist Marco Tempest. Now, Warner Brothers and Carmichael Productions have asked Tempest to bring his special brand of futurist performance excitement to the launch party for the final segment of the super-hit trilogy. The party will coincide with the Manhattan launch of The Matrix Revolutions and take place at the popular night-spot Avalon in Chelsea. Tempest will create real magic in his performance for the V.I.P. audience, creating a world where the virtual on-screen world merges eerily with the live experience of the party, and anything is possible. In The Matrix Revolutions, the final chapter in the Matrix trilogy, the rebels’ long quest for freedom culminates in a final explosive battle. As the Machine Army wages devastation on Zion, its citizens mount an aggressive defense - but can they stave off the relentless swarm of Sentinels long enough for Neo to harness the full extent of his powers and end the war? The film opens nationwide on November 5. Tempest’s own The Virtual Magician is slated to open as a 13 part television series world-wide in the spring of 2004. In the series, Tempest portrays a time travelling magician who manages to journey through the web into different times and locales, where he performs secret miracles of the ages for everyday people in an effort to re-animate and save the spirit of magic. Like Neo in The Matrix, he is a master of the digital domain, able to perform seeming miracles at will.
