Marco walked the red carpet this year and performed for the collected entertainment industry VIP’s at Asia's premiere media awards event, held in Taiwan & broadcast across Asia by Star TV.
The Golden Horse Awards & film festival are the Asian equivalent of The Academy Awards – and this year, Marco Tempest was among the stars presented at the awards and on the red carpet for the extensive media coverage by STAR TV.
Tempest was the only American, joining the stars featured at the event, including Lin Chi-ling, Eric Tsang, Karena Lam, Fangzu Ming, Vanness Wu, Karen Mok, Zhang Junning, Zhao Wei, Zhou Xun, Hu Jun, Wu Zun, the French actor - Ma Xiu Ya Maxi (MATHIEU AMALRIC), CoCo Lee, Bang Bang Tang, Fan Yichen, Mao Bo, Ma & Min-hsiung.
Marco, best known in Asia for his many television specials & his series “The Virtual Magician,” as well as his extensive work on the Internet, prepared a series of special surprises for the audience at the Golden Horse Awards & red carpet, including a special new version of his popular "Aura" light magic piece in which orbs of light actually moved into his own body, as well as across the giant screens.
STAR TV broadcast the event live, beginning with the red carpet entry of the stars into Tai Chung’s Chung San Theater, followed by the full awards ceremony that evening.
