Marco Tempest’s virtual magic is now on the air for two consecutive weeks on Fuji TV’s Show, “Miracle Experience! Unbelievable”. Fuji is Japan’s top rated network, and this is Marco’s first appearance on this popular show.
One of the shows features his “Phone Cam Magic,” in which he sets himself the challenge of creating and performing original magic using nothing but the video camera in his cell phone. Special post-production magic or special cuts are not permitted, and the magic must be original. Phone Cam Magic has become a YouTube phenomenon and been featured on The Tonight Show in the US. Marco’s appearance on “Miracle Experience,” on June 11 marks its premiere on Japanese mainstream television.
For the second show, Marco presents the new “Augmented Reality Card Magic,” which is his latest creation. Early versions of the trick, while still in development have been seen on YouTube and other popular internet sites – but this marks its public broadcast debut. If the studio audience’s response is any indicator, it will be a sensation when aired on June 18. “AR Card Magic” takes the audience inside Marco’s mind as he is performing the trick. They get to see exactly what he is thinking, even as the magic unfolds before their eyes.
