| One of the few companies actually doing well during the recession celebrated by inviting Marco Tempest, Smokey Robinson, Kris Allen, Michael Jordan, Miley Cyrus, Paulina Rubio, and Olympic figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi to perform for 14,000 of its executives and stock holders at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The morning event was hosted by film star Ben Stiller Opening the meeting with a custom version of his popular “Aura,” Marco created a ball of light which flew in a 70 foot circle above the heads of the crowd, and then exploded into the company’s new “Spark” logo on a giant screen. Later in the meeting, Marco featured “The Magic Touch,” customized with specific key messages tailored to the meeting. Meeting content is currently available at Wal-mart’s web site. |
