Dubai’s new full-service communications provider, DU, asked Marco for something special to represent them at this year’s GITEX, the largest technology show in the middle East.
It’s hard for companies wanting to show off the “newest thing” to the world, but the UAE’s new full-service tech provider DU found a way: They asked Marco Tempest to create something special to represent them at this year’s GITEX – the largest tech trade show in the Middle East. Performing a customized version of his Augmented Reality Card Trick, Marco amazed audiences even as he drove home the key points relating to the DU brand and services.
DU is an integrated service provider offering voice, data, video and content services over fixed and mobile networks to residential and business customers. They offer fixed and mobile telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV services to individuals, homes and businesses, and carrier services for businesses. “Above all, we offer value, while we continue to deploy state-of-the art technology to keep enhancing the service experienced by our customers.”
The 29th edition of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK has been hailed as one of the most successful information communications technology events of the year by industry leaders around the world. At a time when attendance has been down at such events, over 133,000 trade visitors attended this year’s show, a three percent increase on 2008 and the highest number of visitors to the show ever, confirming GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK as one of the top IT networking events of the year. |
