Seen as part of Fox TV's New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square, as a wildly popular viral video clip on YouTube and within a special promotion for the United Nation's “Stand Up Against Poverty Campaign,” Marco's latest magical technology has had a terrific press launch! The Photonic T-Shirt turns Marco or one of his assistants into a living, walking interactive video display. Animated objects fly across the front of the shirt, only to become real as they are plucked off by Marco and floated in the air. Other objects are placed “into” the display, where they transform into graphic messages or are morphed into other objects.
We've only begun to explore the potential of this newest magical technology. Worn by dancers, messages can zip across the chests of a whole chorus line. Marco can interact with either his own shirt or those worn by assistants. Displays can be shuffled into different configurations by acrobatic dancers - and almost any moving image can be displayed.
